3 Years Ago, Malistyrax was believed dead

Upon learning what he believes is the location of the last soul fragment, Malistyrax was attacked by a group of vigilantes. Malistyrax never expected his own ally a man calling himself Bone was the mastermind of the attack. During the fierce battle Chimera, Edge, and Lycan (the rest of the Shadow Alliance) were attacked viciously by Malistyrax believing that all had betrayed him. Malistyrax tried to escape when his power began to wane in the face of his enemies, but Bone severed his head, disembowled him and numerous other acts of violence. Finally when his body would not regenerate anymore Bone burned the corpse; Chimera, Edge, and Lycan were imprisoned for the crimes they committed in the name of the Shadow Alliance, Bone was pardoned by the president for his part in destroying Malistyax.

Malistyrax Returns, 50 Dead After Rampage

Our city has gone into panic as the legendary criminal Malistyrax has made his return public knowledge. He unleashed his shadow crusher and destroyed part of Century Square. The death toll is estimated at fifty people, and the injured numbers in the hundreds. Written on a destroyed wall in an unidentified substance was this message:

Beware humans your time is nearly up; enjoy your time, as master of this world, that time will end very soon.

City officials had no comment, but a spokesman from the Federal Government, Mr. Tobias Slate, has said that the government is working on a way to protect American citizens from Malistyrax

Mysterious Ruins Dicovered

After tweleve years of research archeaologists have announced the the ruins are a mystery. The ruins do not have any similarities to any native american ruins in the same area, or in any known ancient ruins world wide. One of the more confounding parts of the site are the onyx fragments that appear to have once formed some sort of dias. The symbols on the fragments are undecipherable at the moment, but archeaologists hope to make a breakthrough after assembling the dias.

Panic after the dead raise

There was a panic in the La Claro district when an army of corpses was unleashed on the national bank. The man in charge was an unidentified individual that killed at least 13 people on his way to the bank. After raiding the bank vault he proceeded into the sewers with his loot, but was driven out by an unknown reason. After arriving on the surface he continued to kill, and eventually got cornered in a graveyard. Several unkown individuals joined the mass police effort to contain the criminal. The civilian panic was driven into a mad frenzy when Chimera, and Malistyrax hit the scene. The two proceeded to fight, and in the end Chimera was decapitated by his former master. Malistyrax and the unkown criminal vanished during the chaos leaving at least 30 dead and over $2,000,000 in property damage.

Mayhem at the Ruins, More Rare Artifacts Missing

Megalopolis was again terrorized when an unidentified machine went on a rampage that ended with twenty-three dead. This would not be the first time the dig came under attack. The Shadow Alliance repeatedly assaulted the ruins site during the spree of destruction that ended just three years ago. Tobias Slate refused to comment on what the government knows, but survivors claim that a man with glowing red eyes was leading the attack. In the wake of this latest attack the mysterious stone dias that was carefully being repaired has turned up missing, as well as several gemstones, these can be added to a growing list of other missing artifacts including the Book of Shadows

Meltdown at the Ruins

Last night the ruins an all out war was fought leaving the ruins completly decimated. Among those involved were members of both the old and new Shadow Alliance, as well as a number of vigilantes, and a combat division of the national guard. Of what is understood Malistyrax launched his most recent attack on the ruins and a group of heros were the first to arrive. Among the heros were the legendary Bone, Edge, Lycan, and Chimera. Others fighting against Malistyrax include a pretty girl calling herself Dragonfly (who was the only one to land a hit on Malistyrax), a male wearing a paper mask calling himself Yimara, a male carrying a baseball bat and a pistol calling himself Shotgun. Malistyrax, the necromancer leading the bank robbery last month, the insidious AI MARS, and the gene freak Onmizoar were among the others present. In the chaos the new Shadow Alliance appears dead, and the heros were never found, and fourteen of the two hundred national guardsmen were killed. Perhaps the greates loss is the ruins which were destroyed in a lava flow created artificially by somone involved in the battle.

Shadow Alliance Returns

After an undead assault that left the world in shambles our news only gets worse. The old Shadow Alliance, aforce that killed most of the world's metahuman heros has returned. Malistyrax and his disciples Bone, Lycan, Edge, and Chimera have reunited and people are feeling more uneasy then ever.
Early reports indicate that Predator from the heros that helped defeat Malistyrax 3 years ago, is now leading a new team of methumans to combat Malistyrax, but it is unclear if the rumors are true.
In the eyes of this reporter the only thing that needs to be said is god have mercy on us all.

***Breakout at Ice Box!!!!***

Early yesterday evening the defeated Shadow Alliance once again reformed combining former members, and new allies into a common entity. During the mayhem Malistyrax, Chimera, Edge, and Lycan escaped the metahuman prison know by the code name "Ice Box."
During their escape the Shadow Alliance allowed the escape of nearly three dozen inmates. Though the riot was quelled eighteen prisoners escaped. Three being Chimera, Edge, and Lycan.
Early reports also indicate that a new ally of the Shadow Alliance calling himself 'Semtex' was integral to orchestrating the escape. During a battle in the forest a man called Demon Paladin engauged the Shadow Alliance in battle aided by several unidentified metahumans.
Reports a sketchy about the status of the battle, but reports also indicate that a massive creature was also involved, but a minor explosion blined anyonbe who was near the battle.
Currently 12 of the eighteen escapees have been captured or killed with three remaining at large in addition to the Shadow Alliance. Please be on your guards, and sleep ightly until the criminals are brought to justice.

As it stands the cemetary that was made in the crater to honor those who were heros to the city of Megalopolis has been destroyed. The enormous battle was a sight to behold claimed several spetators. 'That demon was able to defeat the Shadow Alliance alone' whispered a man simply adressing himself as Mars. It is also to be noted Mars seemed quite knowledgeable about the people in the battle.
Several times he pointed out the man called Predator using his Chameleon Suit, and was able to identify a the man called Shotgun. He also pointed out the Necromancer Shade Lich, and a woman calling herself Death Lich. He laughed when he recognized the symbol of the Shadow Alliance on the girl formerly called Dragonfly. Among others was a woman bearing similar gear to Shotgun, the wizard Covanent, and the planetary powerhouse Celestial.
The battle was a sight to behold, and in the end the demon who identified itself as Zurubane appeared to have victory is his grasp. Not even aid from the mercenary Semtex, or the Demon Paladin and his new allies were no match for this great monster. There were points that it looked as though the tides would turn on Zurubane, but his powers seemed endless. Even when Malistyrax was revived from what seemed like his end did the battle not turn in their favor.
Chimera, Edge, Bone, and Lycan were among the first to fall to the demon Zurubane. The unlikely appearance of Amethyst seemed to turn the tide of battle in the favor of Zurubane's enemies, the battle did end sooner then I expected. One final face appeared, the summoner Demonbane sealed Zurubane, and forced him under her control. It was then that I knew the world would end...
