Zanek's spell reaches its zenith, and he points at the Shadowlord. Immediatly it's arms and legs get trapped in a ring of light. "Now Mhantra, use your ice!"

mhantra quickly transforms into his dragon form and spews a stream of ice at the shadowlord

Mhantra's attack immediatly disperses the wind in the chamber, and the Shadowlord seems to...melt in the onslaught of ice.

Max backed away from the Shadowlord and the ice. Hopefully my sword can survive...

Mira took a step forward, craning her neck to try to see what had happened to the Shadowlord. Was it really that easy?

((Yeah, yeah the Shadowlord was a push over, but this isn't the anticlimactic ending))

The Shadowlord finishes melting, and in the end it abrutly explodes slamming everyone into a different wall.

Upon striking the wall a small object sort of like a whistle lands in Mira's lap.

Max fell to the ground and laid there. I have been slammed into a wall way too many times today...

Mira rubbed her head. Ow... that hurt... Looking around as she tried to figure out what had happened. Her gaze was drawn to the whistle in her lap. It was black, and rather menacing looking. Mira looked back up around the room, trying to get someone's attention, but they were all too busy collecting themselves after the explosion. Her hand went to grab her whistle to get everyone's attention, but something made her stop. Why blow that whistle when there's a brand new one right here? Some part of her mind told her. You'll have to try it out at some point. Why not now? Unable to come up with a reasonable counter argument and unable to stop her sudden curiosity, Mira grabbed the whistle in her lap and blew into it.

Zanek was rubbing his head, when he hears Mira blow the whistle. The whistle makes a sound like something not human shrieking in agony. Seeing Mira and the whistle it was not a stretch what happened. Maybe she doesn't have the mana to activate it, Zanek thinks starting to pray.

Zanek's hopes go unanswered, as the Shadowlord's chamber suddenly fills with the scent of brimstone (a very sulferous smell). The wall which Magine and Mhantra are laying against has a tapestry on it. Light starts passing through all of the bricks that make up the wall.

The only decoration in the entire tower...I hate the divine plan sometimes, Zanek notes. With the tapestry acting as a makeshift gate, an arm tears its way out. Though Mhantra will easily recognize the arm as belonging to a dragon, it is smoldering, burnt black, yet totally intact.

Mira almost dropped the whistle in shock and scrambled to her feet, backing away from the tapestry. Uh oh! She hurried over to Zanek, an apologetic expression on her face, and showed him the whistle, hoping he'd have an idea on how to reverse what she'd done.

Max's eyes went wide. Hopefully Mira's curiosity doesn't kill us all...
He stood up and braced himself, shield ready.

mhantra changes back to his human form to escape the atm reaching out for him. both he and magine simulatniously jump from the wall and prepare themselves for whatever may happen

The arm is followed by the rest of the dragon, and an inferno of silver hellfire. As soon as the portal vanishes the hellfire vanishes. The massive burnt dragon is at least twice as large as Mhantra, long spikes run the length of his back, and his body is adorned with gold chains and precious gems not found on Earth.

The dragon pauses, and shakes itself. Ash scatters off its burnt scales, making it seem all the blacker. Its head turns scanning the room, the tendons in its neck creaking loudly. "Where," it hisses in a deep retilian voice. "Where I am I?"
