Voltroke nods.
"That'd be me." Dropping down to one knee, Voltroke lightly rests his fingertips on Rindhunt's head. He bows his head slightly and closes his eyes as flames begin to engulf his hand and lick up his forearm. Looking up to see Rindhunt's eyelids fluttering, Voltroke stands up and backs off a few paces. His shoulders slump and his eyes convey a sense of weariness.
"She should up in a moment," he says softly.

rindhunt slowly wakes up. as soon as she fully comes to she quickly jumps up "MALAK!" she tries to calm herself down, breathing heavily... "whaa...what happened"

Balgas sighs. "If he's not dead now he will be before we can do anything, Chimera don't take well to betrayal." Balgas says coldly. "The nuke was a dud, we need to contact command and request extraction before the cultists regroup."

"the chimera knocked you out, and handed you over to us. told us malak is dead" hinosa replies to rindhunt

"now i remember, they were using me as a bargain piece, he turn himself in, in exchange for my freedom" rindhunt states standing back up "if anywhere he'd be in the chimera camp, there is no way we can get in there without starting a war, which will defeat the entire purpose of this squad" she opens the apocalypse pod and enters "all we can do is alert hq and hope its not to late for negotia-" something drops down from the ceiling of the pod and lands on rindhunt's shoulder. rindhunt spazes out and falls to the floor. the thing that landed on her shoulder lands on the ground, hops over to rindhunts face and starts licking it. rindhunt opens her eyes to see a marble white and green, dragon hatch ling, with the most adorable green eyes, starting at her like she's its mother

a guard runs up to krobelous. "sir, every one of the attackers has fled, they didnt take one casualty. however, the chimera's did manage to capture their traitor and are holding him in their nearby camp"

Balgas turns away. "That's so adorable I may hurl," Balgas says sarcasticly.

Krobelus grins. "Hmm abandonned by his comrades, already well versed with our practices, and I happen to be able to manufacture mind altering poisons. Dispatch Kosidius, and Charcoal. Whoever brings me the Chimera traitor alive will recieve a substantial reward."

"They're interesting, little creatures in their youth. It's been some time since I've seen a hatchling," Voltroke says, nodding to the little green dragon perched on top of Rindhunt.

Kosidius smiles. "I have no reason to fear those Chimaira fools. They are all bumblers when it comes to cunning. I assure you, you will have your prisoner soon."
With that said, Kosidius stalks off away from camp, muttering to himself about his incoming reward.

Sive stares at the hatchling, cocking her head sideways. "I've never seen one before." she comments quietly. "What are we going to do with it?"

well im going to raise him, and once he's old enough i'll be riding into battle on him" rindhunt stands back up holding the hatch ling in her arms. "it is a he right?" she lifts up the dragon to chekc "scratch that... she"

hinosa walks around rindhunt to the terminal inside the pod and sends a message to the rapture "hey we're ready for pickup

"roger that" a voice replies "eta about 15-20 minutes"

Balgas sits down, and stretches his leg in a very uncomfortable looking position, and then he lays down. "Wake me when its time to leave."

Krobelus grins as Kosidius goes. "Soon a competent follower," he quietly says to himself.

Upon nearing the Chimaira encampment, Kosidius slows his pace and takes to the shadows, creeping along and making no audible noise.
He begins his search for Malak, using anything possible as cover. Soon, he thought. The Chimaira are fools. They will not keep me from my prize.

Voltroke sits down lightly and shuts his eyes, meditating.
"Do not speak to me until the transport arives," he says before going completely silent.

the hatch closes as the team waits in the pod to be picked up. soon after the team hears something large land on top of the pod, then they start lifting. as they are flown back to the rapture and taken back to oceanic for debreifing
