Appearance: Alexis's hair is layered in lengths varying from her chin to her shoulders. It is brown, with the top layers almost golden in color and the bottom layers a deep, dark brown. It flips outward at the bottom. Her eyes are a silvery gray, but they glow purple when she uses her powers. On Alexis's left hand is the Shadow Alliance mark. Her usual outfit around the general human population is a pair of grey jeans and a cyan t-shirt. When she is not so worried about blending in, though, she wears a black shirt, blue jeans, and a red, short-sleeved jacket with a high collar and black swirls patterned on it. She wears either white tennis shoes or black boots with her outfits. Alexis carries with her a pair of black leather, fingerless gloves. One of the many reasons for this is for a quick way to hide the Shadow Alliance mark from those who would attack her for it.

Personality: Since her 21st birthday, Alexis's personality has become much more light-hearted and free spirited. She no longer cares about labels like 'good' and 'evil' seeing as she has played both sides of that line; all Alexis cares about is her friends and helping them. Alexis will voice her opinion if she disagrees with something, but tends to follow those around her easily. She doesn't carry all of the usual Shadow Alliance grudges against humans because she has repeatedly found that there are some humans who aren't corrupted yet. Alexis prefers to think that humans are inherently good, but are corrupted by society.

Powers and Abilities:
- Mental Energy - Alexis is able to focus energy that flows through her body using her mind. This energy can turn tangible and solid or pass through solid objects (the latter causes the energy to lose some of its potency).
- Origin - Her father always wanted to be a metahuman. Therefore, he created and exposed himself to radiation in hopes of developing powers. However, it failed, and the radiation ended up laying dormant in his genes. When Alexs was born, it became evident that the radiation had passed into Alexis's genes and given her powers.
[spoil]- Demon bond - During her battle with Zurubane, the two of them made a new deal so as to end the battle without killing each other. The deal preserves the immortality given to Alexis in their previous deal for as long as she wants it without the threat of having to fight Zurubane again when it ends. The immortality also does not provide quite so close a bond between the two of them as last time, mostly because it is no longer necessary for Zurubane to be able to locate Alexis.[/spoil]

Weaknesses:
- Emotion-based powers - Because Alexis's powers are controlled by her mind, her emotions effect how they work.
- The calmer Alexis is, the more focused and steady her powers are.
- The angrier Alexis is, the more volatile and wild her powers are.
- The more relaxed she is, the more fluid her powers are.
- The more agitated she is, the more her powers will come out on their own.
[spoil]- Comatose Death - Instead of fully dying, Alexis goes into a comatose state while Zurubane heals her body to a point where it can sustain itself. This state can last anywhere from 2 to 12 hours, depending on the amount of damage to her body. Alexis is unable to defend herself during this time, but also cannot feel any pain that her body is registering.[/spoil]

Equipment - Alexis carries two swords for weapons, in case she reaches an enemy she can't beat with her powers alone. She also carries a pair of mirrored sunglasses, capable of hiding her eyes' glow when she uses her powers. They are left over from the time when Alexis was dealing with demon summoners. Alexis lately won a motorcycle off of a man and has been using it to get around instead of flying.

Biography: Since the end of Light and Darkness 1, Alexis has had a lot of things changing in her life. After they defeated Diabolico, Alexis got leave from Malistyrax to train and travel on her own so she would be more prepared to fight Zurubane when the time came. She ended up facing him on a small, uninhabited island off the coast of California. After the battle, Alexis took some time to heal, then spent a year traveling around California and the southwest. During this time, Alexis revelled in her new freedom from thoughts of Zurubane and revenge, working toward planning out the rest of her life, and spent some time just observing human nature. Now she is headed back towards Megalopolis and home.

However, in her eyes, where the excess of energy flowing through tiny, visible veins causes her eyes to appear to glow purple, the energy can cause gradual damage. Before her 21st birthday, when she had a strong bond to Zurubane, the damage done to her eyes from this power usage was healed over regularly. Now, however, the effect can take its toll. The more Alexis uses her powers, the worse her vision will get. However, when using her powers so that her eyes are glowing, the energy compensates for Alexis’s vision, restoring it to a more normal state.

Not only that, but many things are leading her to believe that she should have killed Zurubane while she had the chance. Repeated feelings of failure are beginning to wear on her, and Alexis’s priorities lie with the safety of the Shadow Alliance ‘family’ most of all.

-Mental Energy - Alexis is able to focus energy that flows through her body using her mind. This energy can turn tangible and solid or pass through solid objects (the latter causes the energy to lose some of its potency). This energy usage is very much instinctive, and therefore will create defenses without Alexis giving it more than a moment’s thought. If she uses her powers to create something solid, a skill she has been practicing in her free time, this solid object can move without Alexis touching it, as well as disperse energy like Alexis can. However, this energy is tied to the solid object’s solidity; if the object gives off too much energy, it will either diminish in size or strength, or just fall apart. The limits of Alexis’s abilities here lie in how much energy she can output and what she can think of to do with the energy. The more she practices, the more Alexis can do.
- Origin - Her father always wanted to be a metahuman. Therefore, he created a crystal with a radioactive compound he designed and exposed himself to the radiation in hopes of developing powers. However, it failed, and the radiation ended up lying dormant in his genes. When Alexis was born, it became evident that the radiation had passed into Alexis's genes and given her powers. The crystal was kept in a radiation proof chamber in the basement of Alexis’s house, but it was never found after the night Alexis’s father died.

- Demon bond - During her battle with Zurubane, the two of them made a new deal so as to end the battle without killing each other. The deal preserves the immortality given to Alexis in their previous deal for as long as she wants it without the threat of having to fight Zurubane again when it ends. So far, this damage has been small and unnoticeable. Before her 21st birthday, when she had a strong bond to Zurubane, the damage done to her eyes from this power usage was healed over regularly. Now, however, the effect can take its toll. In her eyes, where the excess of energy flowing through tiny, visible veins causes her eyes to appear to glow purple, the energy can cause gradual damage. The more Alexis uses her powers, the worse her vision will get. However, when using her powers so that her eyes are glowing, the energy compensates for Alexis’s vision, restoring it to a more normal state.

- Source of power – If anyone were to find the crystal that Alexis’s father used to create the radiation that caused Alexis’s powers (see the origin of her energy powers), then that could protect them from the effects of Alexis’s powers, as the radiation would severely counteract her abilities.

ALEXIS THEORY - OVERDRIVE MODE

Appearance: Alexis’s entire body is consumed by the energy within her, making her a creature of energy, rather than one of matter. Her entire body is a shade of purple that can vary in shade depending on her attitude and condition. Details such as hair style, facial expressions, and clothing style are all present merely due to habit, rather than an actual need for any such things. Alexis can change her shape, size, etc. at will depending on what she wishes her appearance to be like, just like she can control her energy powers.

Modified Powers and Abilities:
-Mental Energy – Alexis is now made up entirely of her own energy. Because of this, she can not only use her powers as before, but can also manipulate her body. She can be insubstantial if she wants to be, or remain solid. She no longer needs to create wings to fly; instead she can levitate at will.

Added Weaknesses:
- Disruption of Form – Alexis needs to be wary of other types of energy, as it can disrupt her physical form. If she is insubstantial and gets another type of energy mixed in (ex. Nitrox’s energy type, Malistyrax’s shadow energy, etc.), she needs to ensure she has gotten all of that sort of energy out from the area she is in before she turns substantial, or else it will be trapped within her and ‘poison’ her, to a degree. When she is solid, Alexis needs to be wary of weapons that could shock her (ex. A Taser) into becoming insubstantial by mistake.
