My computer got a virus. Don't ask me how, but once on my system it hid as a part of Windows Security Center. Therefore, I didn't think anything of it until my computer started acting strangely. Until I get this fixed, everything on my computer could be hiding corruption.
Fortunately, the important parts of the Light and Darkness book are on the Wetpaint wiki or are on Ayeka still. The unfortunate part is that, with that computer inaccessible, I am unable to access my archived Ayeka files. I also am not going to be able to access the internet as frequently. Currently I am using wireless internet on Cassie, the little out-dated pocket PC that could. However, while I can post and (slowly) view forums on here, there is no way for me to check email, view chat boxes, etc.. Until things are working again, I'm going to have a much harder time accessing certan things.
The reason I am putting this up under Announcements is because, in a worst case scenario, I will lose my Ayeka archives of all the Light and Darkness pages. I need someone else to get copies of these pages on their own computer, just in case. I can give you assistance in doing so, and point you towards good ways of archiving the stuff. Backstreet Browser in particular is an excellent program (and was NOT the source of the virus).
PM me if you can do this for me. Hopefully, my computer will not have to be wiped.

Update:
Computer had to be wiped, but I got most of my files (including my music, thank goodness) out in time. Thanks to a nifty little feature on Dell computers, the whole reconstruction process took one evening, instead of the usual 16 hours or so of work. It's going to take a bit for my computer to get fully back to normal, but things are looking good.

Glad to hear that your PC is getting healthy again, I ought to really archive LaD1.
