Well, as you can probably already see, the boards are looking a little bare, since we have just been upgraded from phpBBv2 to phpBBv3. SOOOOO.... I bet you are wondering what that means for you. Well, there is no more html code usage, since it is 'considered a security risk', so I'm going to have to come up with a new way to get our lovely chatbox back. Oh, and the portal went poof, but that can (I think) be fixed. Not to mention that the lovely backgrounds are gone. I'm working on that too... Any questions?

EDIT: Okay, have a somewhat working portal and a background that seems to work, at least temporarily, up now. Still working on the chat box thing.

EDIT: It can come WITH a chatbox! It's a bit large, but hopefully no one minds... Looking for opinions on the new setup.

It's fine, once we get it worked out. The chatbox will be annoying. We have to reset our avatars for some reason.

well, sorry, but the chatbox was pre-programmed in. I just flipped the switch to turn it on. I'll work more on the old one.

Uhm, so I can now post the old CBox anywhere... except the portal. This is what you call a 'doh!' moment.

So where do we put it? (other than here, to prove that I can.)

Can you put a link on the portal to make a popup window that has just a page with the Cbox on it?

Maybe, but a) it might make me get rid of this new chat box (which I like) and b) would mean less people would probably use/check it regularly, due to it not being right in front of their faces (namely me... I'm just like that).

That's what I thought... well any way we do it it won't be directly in front of out faces. We can't make it show up on the forum index?
