Mira struggled against the werewolf's grip. Cut it out! She swung her sword wildly again, unable to see at all where she was swinging.

Max's hawk jumped up below the arrow and made a small explosion, enough to alter the course of the arrow to have it only bury itself into the cave wall just above Max's head. Max rolled to the side and started to get up, trying to shake off the explosion impact.

magine is thrown into the cave wall by the sonic howl. after recovering, she slashes her sword at the arm holding mira, aiming to sever it

mhantra sneaks behind the black wolf, jumps on its back and continually stabs its shoulder with one of his daggers

The black werewolf's blood forms a club like extension and smashes Mhantra off his back.

Mira's wild swings accidentally deflects Magine's strike.

A loud airy shriek causes the other werewolves to halt, and an even older werewolf makes his way toward the adventurers. Behind him is a very young black werewolf with a red mane, dragging Zanek.

"Take your pack leader and leave," the geriatric werewolf says leading the others back into the den. The black werewolf drops Mira and sulks off. The red werewolf spits at Mhantra before followng the geriatric.

Zanek is unharmed, but he is tied up from head to toe where he cannot move or speak.

Mira hit the ground and immediately scurried over to Zanek. Thank you! She called after the werewolves as they left. She immediately set to work trying to untie Zanek, a smile on her face since they got him back.

As soon as Mira frees his hands Zanek ungags himself and spits on the ground. He ruffles Mira's hair, and stands up to brush himself off. "First a vampiress, then a Somniac, then werewolves, do you all have any clue what this means?" Zanek checks his gear and grins like a young man. "We are really close to the source of all this corruption."

And he thinks this is a good thing? Mira thought, though she had no way of voicing the question. She smiled still, though, because she had a hard time being frustrated at the moment. We're all together again and no one is attacking at the moment! Yay!

"What corruption?" said Max, rushing over. "As far as I know, we're just battling random monsters. Are they really all connected?"

"you better start making sense old man" magine says to zanek

"Evil invites more evil," Zanek says. "Check your bible, though it is much more eloquently stated." Zanek somehow seems a bit younger than before, and he scratches at his neck. "Demon Raiders, Somnaics...the Vampiress, werewolves, zombies, that wind demon in the black armor...we are getting close to whatever we are looking for."

Zanek abruptly sniffs the air and hurries away from the cave. Just off a poorly maintained road is an inn that looks strikingly similar to the last one the group stayed at. "Finally we have this little marvel, popping out of nowhere."

Mira hurried after Zanek, again half dragging her sword behind her. She looked at the inn curiously. Isn't that...? She looked up at Zanek, as if asking if he had an explanation.

"What's your mind thinking? You're killing us all..." said Max. "Not being clueless may help."

"Clueless?" Zanek keeps going. "You are the clueless one, even Mira knows whats going on, its all over her face." He flings open the door to the inn. "You here Nova?"

"Quite," Nova says from behind the counter. "Didn't think I'd see you all, in one piece anyway."

Mira grinned and waved at Nova as she entered the inn. I have no idea how he got here, but at least he seems friendly! She walked over to one of the tables and sat down, looking quite at home.

"ok, isnt this the same inn that we stayed in that ended up disappearing by morning?" mhantra asks inquisitively
