With the death of AvP, with EmporerSDC's consent I am going to take down the boards, but in their place I have a new RPG idea.

Who is familar with Code Geass, and if so who has seen Code Geass R2, because the RPG would take place after Code Geass R2. If at least two people want to play, I will give more details.

so are the mechs going to be like gundams or like big walking cannons/missile arsinals like in armored core

Well since this is intended to be my spin in the code geass universe, the mechs are called Knightmare Frames. I kind of have an armored core feel with the knightmare frames as long as everyone doesn't go crazy.

Never played one before... can my mech have a sword?

Am I the only one that has watched Code Geass?

Swords, Polearms, Knives, Rope Darts, Tonfas, and other close range weapons are stables on Code Geass Knightmare Frames.

Then I'm in. I prefer those kind of weapons to guns. And no, I haven't watched Code Geass.

Well the story is code geass is simple, it is basically a mecha retell of King Arthur. Here is the abriged version of the story including spoilers:

[spoil]In Code Geass the Earth is dominanted by three superpower nations: The European Universe, China, and Britania. Britannia consists of most of the western hemisphere, and upon the discovery of a rare mineral called sakuradite in Japan, Britannia invaded. Using their Knightmare frames Britannia conquered Japan redubbing it Area 11.

Years later the Exiled Britannian prince Lelouch discovers a capsule from a project called Code R, inside the capsule is the immortal witch that calls herself CC (prounced C2). After making a deal with CC Lelouche gains the ability called Geass. His Geass allows him to force anyone that makes direct eye contact with him to do anything he orders.

Using the power of Geass, plus his intelligence and charisma he assumes the identity of the terrorist leader Zero and forms a rebellion against Britannia . His first rebellion fails, and during the second rebellion his soldiers known as the Black Knights betray him. After their betrayal Lelouche manages to assume the throne of Britannia by killing his father the Emporer.

After making himself into a tyrannical emporer, and effectivly conquering the world Lelouche is killed by his Knight under the mask of Zero, thereby bringing peace to the world, and causing democratic goverments to unite. Lelouche's death is left ambiguous,[/spoil]

but that is the story up to where the RPG would begin
