Dev dodges the arm and pushes off of Kabuto's back, prying the sword free. Dev tried to stab at Kabuto's back this time.

"Hey! No fair!" Nyssa grabbed hold of the claw and tried to crush the hinge with her metal hand so it would release her.

((@Revan: Lol I'm pretty sure that I put the shockguns in Kabuto's profile as glorified stun/lightening guns))

As soon as the plasma sword is freed from the insect arm manipulator, it deactivates. Kabuto swings Nyssa around by the grapple stinger claw, and slams her into Dev. In the ensuing moment he launches his grapple stinger again, and it retrieves his plasma sword. "No girl, this is not fair!" Two swords in hand, and two swords on foot Kabuto charges at Nyssa and Dev.

"At the very least we can use them as a set of shields. Now sister, will you take the lead, or shall I?" Kythe asks Wildcat opening his wings and feeling the air currents.

Dev grabs Nyssa and teleports behind Kabuto, making Kabuto's charge useless. "You OK?" he said. "If so, we need to dissect this bug."

"I'm fine," Nyssa replied, "Though this jerk is irritating me to no end. You got a plan to squash him, or no?"

"Hmm... I feel like batting clean up today, so you first." Wildcat grinned as she strapped on her gauntlets. "Age before beauty, and all that."

bret struggles to climb aboard his hoverboard. he tries to bring himself on top of a building, or at least what he thinks is a building, his vision has become too blurry to tell whats what.

"All I need is more distraction. I can disassemble piece by piece," said Dev. He manipulated his sword to become a lazer gun.

"You got it. Just don't let him paste me in the process." Nyssa darted off on her board. She came up on Kabuto from behind and punched at the back of his helmet. "You can't beat me, metal head!"

Kabuto's insect arms grab Nyssa's arm, and then one manipulator locks around her neck. Kabuto draws back with a plasma sword, and laughs. "Is this all for your claim of being dangerous? My armor has yet to even take any real damage. Sionara my bonus."

Kythe sighs and he leaps off the rooftop. He yanks his three section staff from the holster on his boot, and spreads his wings. He catches an air current and rises. He flaps to build speed and he smashes Kabuto with the staff. Kabuto drops Nyssa, and recovers in midair. "Sister dear, if you would be so kind," he says loudly.

Wildcat revved the engine of her bike as she sped out into open air. There was a small jolt as the bike's hovering effect kicked on, but that was it as she sped towards Nyssa. Grabbing Nyssa and hauling her onto the bike behind her so she was sitting sidesaddle, Wildcat grinned. "You are sooo damn lucky we're helping you guys out."

Nyssa blinked a few times, trying to get a grasp on just what was going on, but failing. Go with the flow, I guess. "I can save myself from falling, you know," She retorted, pointing to the hoverboard still strapped to her feet.

Wildcat laughed, "Then get moving!" She gave Nyssa a little push off the rear of her bike.

Nyssa's hoverboard did stop her from falling this time. "Wierdo..." Nyssa muttered.

Dev shot a couple of rounds into Kabuto's back, aiming for his tech.

Kabuto hisses as his suit gets hot. Dev's first shot is mostly reflected, but the second causes a large patch of his armor to start glowing hot. Alarams go off in his helmet, but Kabuto does not want to pull back. Vents all over his armor open and release a heavy cloud of steam.

THough Kythe does not like it he draws the Lazer pistol from its holster. "Boosh!" He says blasting the glowing spot on Kabuto's armor. Kabuto gives off more steam and freezes in midair, just barely hovering.

By this time the security forces have massed into a small army which is steadily approaching the group.

"Dear sister grab our rather crispy friend, and you two may wish to come with us for the time being," he says to Dev amd Nyssa. "Unless of course you think that you can fight your way through that trash." Kythe points to the surprising number of security forces flying toward them on their sleds.

"Sheesh... my bike isn't a free tram service, you know..." Wildcat complained as she zoomed over to Bret. She dragged him haphazardly onto the back of her bike before heading back up into the air. "Alright, which way are we headed to avoid the uglies?" She motioned to the security forces as she said this.

Nyssa frowned. "How do we know you two aren't just here to kidnap us or something? I've already been taken hostage once today, and I don't think I'd like a repeat experience."

"What would they gain? They think we're inferior," said Dev. He opened his solar panels to recharge a portion of his battery. I'll need fuel soon, though...

"Dear sister it seems that the trash would rather fend for herself, and frankly I'm not in much of the mood to care so lets be off, she can stay here and get slaughtered by the Security imbeciles. Besides my wings are getting tired just hovering here," Kythe turns slightly to check the security forces approach.

"Perhaps we had better get back using the narrow passage between the Suit (worker's) barracks, and then doubling back home," Kythe suggests holstering his weapons.

Kabuto's armor gives off more steam, but then his various control surfaces begin to slowly move, and his vents start closing one by one.
