((@Nitrox: How about I simplify things a bit, get in the fight with Kabuto))

Kabuto's jet pack was out of control, so he did the only thing that wouldn't dump him in the dead sky (the poisons cloud layer) He points himself upward. Kabuto grits his teeth as the G-forces mount against him, but as Kabuto's altimeter reaches the red zone his jet pack stalls.

As Kabuto starts to fall, his insect arms deploy, and the immediatly go to the damage on his pack, which turns out to be loose connection. Of all the luck, he thinks as the insect arms weld down the connection.

Kabuto recoversand is much higher than Nyssa and Bret, so he bends his arm at the elbow and fires a capsule at Nyssa, which opens into a net. Kabuto then flies ahead, and fires a missile at Bret, but as he passes over Bret he launches a second missile that approaches from Bret's blindspot.

Darn it! Looks like he's fixed his jet pack. There go all hopes of him plummeting to his doom. Nyssa flew in the opposite direction of the net till she had gained enough distance to dodge over to the side, then wait. As the net flew past, Nyssa grabbed an edge of it. She began spinning it around, using centripetal force to build up the momentum she knew the net would need. When Nyssa figured that there was enough speed behind the net, she let it fly back towards Kabuto. Let's see if he likes a taste of his own medicine.

bret stops the missile in mid air, before he could redirect it at kabuto he is hit with the second missile. as he falls he grabs onto his hover board and concentrates to stop his decent, one he has slowed to a stop he climbs back onto his board. after regaining his balance on the scrap of metal bret launches a volley of his orbs at kabuto

Kabuto uses a flip kick and his plasma sword to cut through the net, but from behind he is caught in Bret's barrage.

Nyssa grinned as she watched Kabuto get hit. Excellent. She used the oppertunity to fly up behind Kabuto and punch him in the back with her metal fist.

Dev walked past a window and saw the combat up above. No! Why should I help them? They're of no use to me! he thought. But I could get some revenge, maybe even throw a dent in the stupid company's operations...
He kept walking to the elevator, but the level indicator caught his eye. The elevator had stopped at this level. And nobody else was around. Am I paranoid or do I hear weapons warming up?
Dev turned around, ran to the window, activated his boots, and transformed his weapon into a sword. Now for the right opportunity... he thought, watching the struggle above.

Kabuto catches Nyssa's fist, and turns to face her. Desipte getting hit full on Bret's attack, the only visible damage is to his paint job, and a few dents. "Zap," he says shocking Nyssa with his 5 shock guns. He then aims his wrist laser at Bret and fires a volley of shots in a spiraling pattern. Gotta wrap this up, he thinks watching his heat gauge.

From his position Kythe watches the unfolding battle. "Dear sister, do you think that those two will be of use to our mission?" Kythe asks Wildcat, studying the batte intently.

bret jolts to the side dodging the lazers. he takes the opportunity to retaliate by speeding up to kabuto and shoving a power orb in his face at point blank.

Nyssa screamed in pain at the shock. She doubled over and clung to her hoverboard, trying not to fall off. Please don't short circuit! The board fell a bit, but remained aloft. As she waited for the pain to fade, Nyssa tried to steer her hoverboard farther away from Kabuto. I can't let that happen again.

Wildcat looked up from fiddling with the controls of her motorbike, not bothering to feign disinterest in the battle when asked a direct question about it. "As human shields, perhaps. They're not as good as us, if that's what you are asking. Still," She stretched her arms from having been in one position for so long, anticipating that they'd be moving soon, "They may have their uses to us. What do you think?"

((Kabuto fired in a spiral, it would take more to dodge that))

Kabuto's composite armor absorbs most of the damage, only the paint cracks a little. "That all you got?" Kabuto asks Bret pointing his right arm. A light in the center of his forhead glows, and then his flash gun blasts Nyssa and Bret with a blinding light. A panel opens and he uses his flamethrower on Bret. His grapple stinger claw opens, and he aims to lock it around Nyssa's neck.

Kythe tenses, but then he relaxes. "I can touch the mind of someone else, he is watching the fight with interest, so we will wait. If they cannot hold out against Kabuto for five minutes then they are worthless even as human shields." Kythe stretches his wings, and sighs. "Superior as we are, that only tips the scales so far in our favor against the vast resources of the corporations.

Nyssa still had her head down when the light flashed, so she was only mildly affected by it. However, it still had enough of an effect on her that, when she looked up, it took her a moment to notice the claw flying right for her. With a small noise of annoyance, she barrel rollled the hoverboard to get out of the way, then stood back up. Enough of that... I need to find a way I can fight back...

"Which leaves us resorting to a random group of untrained amateurs... what is the world coming to..." Wildcat gave a resigned sort of sigh. "Well, so long as we achieve our goal, I suppose it doesn't matter, does it?"

Immediately after Kabuto unleashed his attacks, Dev raised his sword while still inside of the building. As he started to swing the sword down, seemingly into nothing, he teleported directly behind Kabuto and struck at his back. Now that he's distracted enough, taking him down shouldn't be extremely difficult...

bret conentrated, he moved the particles of the gas that the flame thrower ignighted around so that the flames didn't touch him. after kabuto stopped with the flamethrower bret wobbled back and forth on his hoverboard. barely able to keep himself suspended in air, exhausted from the level of concentration it took to pull off such a feat.

The grapple stinger claw turns in mid air propelled by its thruster, and locks around Nyssa's leg.

Kabuto fires his 5 shockguns at Bret.

At Dev's appearance Kabuto's suit reacts, deploying the insect arms, blocking Dev's sword with one plasma sword while lashing at Dev wit hthe second.

bret, still exhausted, quickly tries to concentrate on the shogun pellets fired at him. he isnt able to stop them, just slow them down enough to the point that they wont penetrate his skin. the pellets impact bret, knocking him off his hoverboard. he grabs onto the lip of his hoverboard. just barely able to concentrate enough to keep him afloat.
