bret nearly falls onto the couch next to kythe. rubbing his temples he says "i want them to bleed for killing my parents"

"Sounds gemius enough," said Dev. "But how powerful is their security? Like that bug?"

Wildcat sat down on a couch across from the one Kythe was sitting on. She didn't say anything at this point, preferring to let Kythe do the talking.

Nyssa, on the other hand, remained standing. She listened to the other two readily agree to assist Kythe and Wildcat and frowned. "Are you two seriously going to just agree to do this?" She looked at Kythe. "Why should I help you, anyways? Sure, I could possibly help you, but what are you getting out of it? I want to know I'm not just being used as bait here. For all I know, you're working for one of the corporations and want us to help you annihilate the competition."

"Have you seen Strikemax gene splicing?" Kythe asks, but he continues without waiting for Nyssa to answer. "Thats is our stake in this." Kythe spreads his wings out. "As you can see we are beyond mere splicing we were born evolved. Yet Strikemax defiles our bloodline by using our heritage to splice humans pointlessly!"

Wildcat nodded in agreement, her eyes narrowing at the thought of Strikemax.

Nyssa shrugged. "I guess a vendetta is good enough for now... But if I get any feeling you are leading us into a trap or trying to use us, then I am out of this."

"I'll ask the obvious question. Who's Strikemax?" asked Dev impatiently. He sat down, looking for various exits.

"Strikemax is the lead corporation in Megalopolis, they control most of the city with their gene splicing, and cyberntics divisions. If we break their two key industries splicing and cybernetics, they will weaken and hopefully the power struggle from SA and Demise will tear all three apart."

"you're making this sound easy, alittle too easy if you ask me" bret says

"The trick will no doubt be destroying Strikemax," Nyssa told Bret. "Think about what we just saw today. If that was Demise Inc.'s security, then we're gonna have to face that kind of stuff again coming from Strikemax."

Chaos is every villain's tool... Maybe I can pick up the pieces afterward...
Dev was interested now, but he wanted to keep this subtle. "So how exactly are you going to do this? Saying is one thing, doing is another."

"Our job is rather simple we just need to tip the precarious balance so that SA and Demise will make a move, and then when the war starts full blast we can cut their throats while they are distracted fighting each other, right dear sister?"

Wildcat grinned. "It's the perfect plan. So long as no one goofs it up." She looked around at the trio of newcomers as she said this, as if daring one of them to ruin the plan.

"So are you expecting us to sit here and watch your glorified work come into use? Or is there some reason why you saved us?" asked Dev.

"Well frankly we first though of using you as meat shields, but after your fight with Kabuto I belive that you may be part of the resurgence of metahumans, which would mean though you are not as great as us, you are far greater than any normal humans."

Kythe puts his hands behind his head. "So are you guys in or out, we have to get moving while the Security imbeciles are chasing Kabuto."

"just point me at the guys that you need blasted to peices" bret says standing up, having regained a decent amount of his energy
