Okay, with the departure of our great and powerful leader, I think we need to have a chat about what we're gonna do while he is gone.

1) Since Draco had some sort of replacement for himself in mind, I say we try to hold back on LaD posts until we see what he has in mind. If Draco left him/her plot instructions, secret information, or anything of that nature, we'll need it before we continue on with the RPG.

2) With this in mind, we're gonna need some new RPGs here. I'm gonna try to get Taeru moving again (it just seems doomed to die!) though it's gonna be a little tricky since Draco's character was a part of the plot later on, and I'm not sure how well I can play him. I'm thinking we need something everyone would like and that is self-sustaining so that, even if one character disappears for a bit, it will survive. Any ideas are much welcomed.

3) With LaD on hold, I'm going to be working much harder on the book format of it. If anyone wants to help with this project, let me know. I'm thinking I need a limited access way of typing pieces and displaying them on the web so that you all can see and comment on what is done so far.

Any thoughts, comments, further points?

Nitrox and I were discussing what we could do with Taeru yesterday...would it be possible to send our characters out on side missions for Selena as part of our training/payback and write Draco's characters into a corner for the time being? Maybe we could focus on learning more about Taeru itself, and not on fighting villans...just a suggestion; I don't know what you've come up with so far.

As far as the book goes, let me know what I can do to help you out!

As my first order of business allow me to solve your problems.

1) You could use megaupload to encrypt your novel pieces, and using a MU password or Winrar password to keep anyone that runs across the MU file out.

2) As for new RPG's this is why draconious380...coerced me to join. With Revenge of the Fallen coming to theatres in June I want to start a Transformers RPG.

1)Ah, but then you lack a certain feel of comunal editing. I'd use Wetpaint, but it's been annoying me lately ever since I switched to Chrome. I'm thinking a Blogger account with anyone who is helping getting a sub-author account (if that makes sense). Anyone here already have a Blogger account or be willing to get one to assist the project? I'll send details if this idea is widely accepted.

2)Transformers. Interesting choice. (Me + mechs = confusion!) You can have AvP's space once I clear it out. BTW, how did Draco 'coerce' you to join?

3)Did Draco give you any orders other than that?

Hmm. Shoot, and just after completing Adv. Fiction Workshop Draco goes and gets lost. For communal editing I'd suggest the MU/Winrar solution, and then a group discussion using a private chat room or some kind of messenger just like we did for a year and a half of college.

And I do know about mecha, but they lack something in a roleplay that swords and magic have in abundance. I'm still not sure what that is, though... Besides, every mech is different and you have to learn all the rules... I'll participate, but don't expect me to be any good.

So, if Draco didn't leave you any instructions for LaD, we'll probably need to hold a [s]council of war[/s] planning meeting to discuss plot direction soon...

Mecha as opposed to super robot is grounded in a very realistic set of rules that the only loop is applied to the robots. Its easy to follow after maybe ten minutes.

Well he did spout some stuff about a knight invading a freezer, or something. I though it was just random nonsense he spouts from time to time.
