hero: Magine Uwe

biography: magine is a dhampir (half human-half vampire) she knows little of her parents, her mother died a few short weeks after she was birthed, and she has no knowledge of her father. after her mother died she was raised in a monastary hidden away from the outside where she could cause havoc if she went into an uncontrolled killing frenzy and safe from those who wouldnt hesitate to kill her because of her unholy heritage. at the monastary she was taught in the lessons of jesus christ and trained to resist the lust for blood. after she has proven to be able to keep her vampire instincts undercontrol, she was released from the monastary. now she travels the planet, hunting her unholy reletives.

appearance: having short red hair and bright blue eyes magine stands at 5'3" she travels in the cloak of a monk

powers/abilites: vampiric, can heal almost instantly from the taste of blood. slightly keener senses and higher physical condition than the adverage human. immune to age and most infections

weaknesses: water, the touch of water burns her skin. sunlight, sunlight would also burn away at her, but at a far slower rate than a full vampire, a large rush of adrenaline can force her into a killing frenzy

equipment: crusafix(sp) necklace, bottle of holy water, bottle with large mouth for a reserve of blood, a silver blade sword with holy enscriptions along the blade, and fangs

biography: Mhantra is of the rare and dying species of dragons. He left the nest 13 short years after being hatched. he has chosen to escape the knights and dragon slayers by hiding among the humans in their form.
one day he was discovered by a small clan of vampires and they were attempting to capture him and use him to cause havoc. he was saved by magine, just as they were trapping him within a net. ever since they've been traveling together side by side looking out for each other's backs and becoming the best of friends.

appearance: dargon (draco occidentalis maritimus, frost dragon, 4 legs, full wings) light blue color. 40 ft long from head to tail and 15 ft high. wile as a human, male about 16 in age, blond with a tint of light blue. blue crystal like eyes, about 5'5".

powers/abilities: transformation between human and dragon form, frost blast, potentially more elemental attacks (character evolution)

weaknesses: vulnerable underbelly, loyalty to magine, attraction to shiny things and valubles

equipment: horns, claws, teeth. as a human, his scales form into a suit of armor as durable as dragon scales (i wonder why, lol) he carries two daggers that have a very low base temperature, low enough to freeze water

Both are approved, except I thought that a frost dragon was white, and a thunder dragon is blue.

well the drgonology book that i was using to make this reference doesnt mention any thunderdragon, the only types of draco occidentalis are the frost and fire dragons.

frost dragons are light in color usualy pink and or blue, and fire dragons are usualy dark colors

Looks like my monster manual is outdated but here is what I always learned the five types come in two colors; fire dragons are red/gold, thunder dragons blue/bronze, poison dragon green/brass, acid dragon black/copper, and ice dragons are white/silver.

We decided in LaD1 that Malistyrax was blue once his powers turned to lightning... I always pictured it as a navy blue to match storm clouds. A blue ice dragon would be a much paler color, like the color of a glacier. Why use technicalities from books when this is our own world to create, not the world of some other person?

[Hero] Name: Zanek
Ailias: The Holy Sword
Age: 55
Ht: 6'2"
Wt: 200 lbs

Appearance: Older warrior, his hair has turned gray from battle. His hair is long, and he has gray 5 o'clock shadow. He wears battered armor, that was once white. He wears a long claymore on his back that is shaped like a cross. He also carries a longsword on his waist.

Personality: Old and weathered, his personality is strict and discilplined. At the same time he has a mentor personality for anyone that he believes needs his help.

Biography: Born a peasant in a castle town, Zanek was sold to a church by his parents. There he was trained to be a priest, but before his tranined was complete the monastery was attacked by demon raiders. When he crawled out of the destroyed church all the monks and priests were dead, and the demons had violated the nuns. It was here that Zanek prayed, his prayers were answered when the only piece of the church to survive, a large blessed silver cross, was transformed into the sword that Zanek now carries. After years of battle and tracking he wiped the demon raiders out, and he retired, until new evils forced him to once again become Zanek the Holy Sword.

Powers/Abilities: 1) Swordsman- skilled with either of his swords.
2) Clerical Magic-he can use some spells that are capable of healing or repeling evil.

Weaknesses: Age- he is older and he lacks the stamina of a young man.

Weapons/Equipment: 1) Longsword
2) Sanctus judicium (Holy judgement)- Enormous cross shaped sword, the bane of all evil.
3) Loricatus caelestis- holy armor that once protected Zanek from evil. It has grown weak over the years.
4) Bible- contains the holy scriptures, and clerical spells.

[Villain] Name: Shadowlord

Appearance: Wears armor blacker than the darkest night, glowing orange eyes visible through the slats of their helm.
Personality: Cruel, Evil, Demonic
Biography: The Shadowlord is not an individual so much as a group of similar entities. One day they appeared at numerous points on the land and began to burn, slaughter, and kill. They also scoured the lands until they found several items and hid them away in two dungeons and a tower.

Powers/Abilities: Shadow Manipulation (shadow walking, regen, shadow crusher, solid shadow weapons)
Element Mastery (Fire, Wind, Water [Ice], Earth [metal], Lightening)
Weaknesses: 1) Light
2) The opposite element to their alignment. (Each element defeats the next and goes in a circle Ice<Fire<Water<Lightening<Earth<Wind)

Weapons/Equipment: None

(So fire beats Ice, or Ice beats fire? I've seen those symbols go either way.)

I don't have one planned, didn't realize we would be starting so soon. I put one up as soon as I can.

Personality: Mira is usually very shy, and often goes unnoticed. She reaches out to animals more than humans, merely because she can communicate with them.
Biography: Mira has been mute since birth. Her father's been missing for years, but Mira's mother has always been there for her. She can communicate with other humans by using hand signs. Mira's powers have always been with her, but her mother has never told Mira why she has them. They live in a small village.
Powers/Abilities: ability to communicate with and understand animals
Weaknesses: Mute (makes it very hard to get people's attention if she needs help, is trying to warn them, etc.); is only as strong as the animals that help her, seeing as she isn't very strong
Weapons/Equipment: decorated walking staff, whistle that people can hear (to get their attention), whistle that only certain animals can hear (like a dog whistle)

[Hero] Name: Max Thrust
Alias: Nitro Max (commonly just Max)
Age: 16

Appearance: Avatar, also has an N scar on the back of his right hand
Personality: Max is an intuitive thinker, highly adventurous, and can be mischievous. He thinks everything through, though is still a tad naïve. He can use his resources wisely, with some thought.

Biography: Max is a traveling swordsman. He upholds the passing of the Nitroxide for his generation. Unfortunately, before any thorough training of this gift was given, his father mysteriously disappeared. The only thing left for Max to remember him by is a letter.

I must leave for reasons I wish not to express to you yet. I realize you have a unique gift, a gift my father passed down to me. All I know about this power is that my dad received it from a mighty dragon, just before the Dragon Extinction. Go on your own way. Use your power wisely, and see if you can discover the story of this power’s past. Good luck, my son.

So Max went on his way. He trains as much as he can with his swordsmanship and tries to gain control over his powers. He travels from town to town, seeking adventure and his past. He received a mysterious but useful glove along with a decent shield along his travels. His path is unknown to him yet, but he does not know that it is to be determined very, very soon.

Powers/Abilities: Nitroxide- see LaD Nitrox Biography
Max is developing these powers, but can accidentally use them at random times. ((I know, no godmodding...))
Sidenote: Nitro denotes one with NX, Nitrox denotes one with mastery over NX.

Weaknesses: Max is proficient in close combat and has a currently uncontrollable power. Figure out his weaknesses for yourself.

Weapons/Equipment:
Katana- a quick sword (For those who SSBBrawl, think Marth)
shield- found on a random quest into an ancient warrior’s tomb; small, but can deflect attacks and the elements
armor- worn, leather armor that provides little protection (looks cool, though)
glove- worn on sword hand for grip and hand protection; the orb implanted in it can siphon off NX from Max to create a Spirit Falcon

Spirit Falcon-
Can fly at high speeds, cannot touch any objects except for the glove, only spawns for a limited time, then fades back into the orb.
