The Black Knights are holed up in a fortress guarded by heavy guns and magic users.

The group teleported in by Nova appears right in the middle of a battle engaged by various metahumans from all over the world.

Meanwhile underground beneath the fortress the Black Knight himself watches as several Knights, and a few metahuman prisoners work on a machine. "Soon, the universe will be saved."

Leslie looked around and frowned. "What the heck happened while we were gone?"

Tightening her grip on her swords, Alexis sighed. "No rest for the weary, I suppose..."

"Apparently..." said Nitrox, withdrawing a kunai for his left hand and keeping his short sword in his right.

"Oh great, more fighting," Selena said to herself while checking the charge levels of the crystal panels she was still carrying. She held the panels in her palm and transferred some power into them to use for backup, then replaced them in her pocket and readied her kasuri-gamas.

Icarus, feeling much better than he had the few hours, drew his sword and took to the air, his wings silently beating, holding him aloft.

Utilizing the light charged weapons is impossible, the weapons upon attepting to strike somehow repel themselves from striking an enemy.

Rather than even acknowledging the other Malistyrax moves forward an rips the fortress door open. "You are slow," he comments to the others hanging back. He enters the fortress flanked by his shadow alliance.

"common we're not going to let them do all the work, are we?" charge says walking behind the shadow alliance

lightening arcs from above and strikes the nearby black knights, killing them. a dragon comes down.

the figure on dragon, in a full jumpsuit speaks "where did you just come from?"

Nitrox ran behind the Shadow Alliance, entered the fortress, then went to work. He took his normal kunai and stabbed one knight in the heart. He blasted another Knight with an orb of NX.

Alexis took one look around the fortress as she entered it and spotted the figure on the dragon. She frowned. "Who the heck are you?" She sent several orbs of energy out to hit various Black Knights, saving her swords for later.

Leslie hurried into the fortress, picked a target, and unleashed a sonic yell at some Black Knights.

The interior of the fortess is divided into nearly a dozen corridors, and the sounds of battle comes from three.

The wall behind Nitrox explodes, flinging deadly shrapnel, and just as deadly rubble at Nitrox, followed by Flare's distinct giggle.

A pillar near Alexis is sliced in half by Nail's distinct airblade.

magine jumps off of mhantra, mhantra changes into this human form

"im magine, he's mhantra, we'll talk later" magine says drawing her sword, charging and striking at nail

mhantra chases after magine, drawing his daggers, he jumps over magine when she strikes nail and brings his dagger down striking nail.

charge dives for cover behind a pillar and starts shooting grenades at flare

revan jumps out of the shadows behind flare striking at flare with a vertical slash with his sword

Selena ran after Lesile, catching one knight's arms in a time sphere and slashing him with her regular kasuri-gama. Past him she saw three knights turn towards her; as they charged Selena trapped them in a complete time freeze using the energy stored in one of her panels.

From a position in the sky two figures watch the fight, a man and a woman. Kuk and Kauket. Though seperate they are the same entity, and so as Kuk raises his left hand Kauket raises her right.

Kuk's Total Chaos power causes a ripple that surrounds Magine and Mhantra. The ripple causes not only Flare to change positions, but the entire section of the fortress shifts, and in the ensuing chaos Magine and Mhantra's own attacks strike themselves. "As much as I enjoy chaos this could be dangerous..."

Kauket's Total Chaos power causes a similar effect, the very layout of the fortress shifts around Charge and Revan, meanwhile it causes Revan's attack to strike charge, and Charge's grenades to strike Revan. "...But defying 'him' is certainly more dangerous."

Nitrox reacted with NX speed and ran away from the shrapnel. While doing this, though, Nitrox's own right glove fell to the ground with NX still stored in it.

Nitrox turned, his Scope locked on Flare, and he fired a large N sphere above Flare's head. Then, in a split second, Nitrox ran up to Flare and dealt an uppercut to her body. He punched her upward just in time so that she was hit by the N sphere.

Leslie frowned as she watched Kuk and Kauket. "You two sure seem annoying." She pulled the whistle she'd gotten out of her pocket, as well as a pair of earplugs. Better put these in... whistles tend to be loud on their own. She shoved the earplugs in, then blew into the whistle, focussing the sound blast on Kuk and Kauket.

Alexis looked around for Nail, launching a series of energy blasts in his direction once she spotted him. "Oh good grief... won't you just give up and go away? You know we're never going to give up, so why don't you just leave us alone!"
