In the La Claro district of Megalopolis is its own embassy row, and in a embassy belonging to a small nation few people have heard of, is a massive basement. In this massive basement is a chamber in which a man waits on his ornate carved throne, numerous other chairs are set up in the chamber as Demise awaits his guests.

The door opens to admit a group of eight people, all but one heavily robed. Treggor, the only one missing a robe, leans against the wall beside the door as it closes. Two of the robed figures seat themselves, and the rest remain standing. The robed figure seated on the right speaks then.
"Are we ready to begin, or are you awaiting someone?" The voice appears to be male.

"Not at all, for Demise has called upon every potentail ally to his cause." Demise says from his ornate throne.

The magical lights inside the chamber dim, and the doors fly open. The seven members of the Shadow Alliance walk into the chamber. Malistyrax scowls at the sight of Rengar, and takes a seat on a throne far away. Eclipse seats next to him, while Lycan, Bone, Chimera, and Edge sit behind him.

Nitrox slips in after the Shadow Alliance, invisible. He slams his kunai into the table, with glowing blue fingerprints on the handle. Materializing into a chair, he says, "Damn OBSCURA! They leave me in the factory to die, and take all the credit for finishing off the Veltek! When I get my hands on them..." His hands start to glow, but a sharp stab of pain on his right hand stops him, as he is still recovering from the shock of the explosion.
He then mumbles, "Leaving me there for weeks... I almost died..."

"Calm yourself," Demise's deep voice echoes through the hall. "OBSCURA has attempted to kill all of us in one way or another, hence the reason I have summoned us all here."

A silver puddle slithers under the door. The liquid metal slithers until it reaches a spot where it feels comfortable. The puddle climbs on itself until it takes a human form. "We are Amalgam," tt says in a digital voice. "We were nearly killed shortly after our birth by the OBSCURA fleshlings, our body has yet to amalgamate enough material to face them alone."

Treggor studied the Amalgam with interest. Then one of the two seated spoke again. "So will everyone show up, or will they ignore your invitation?"

((Draco, what for you say 7 members of the Shadow Alliance? There are 8. I'm going to presume Alexis came in with the rest of the Shadow Alliance.))

Alexis shifted in her chair; she was sitting with Edge, Lycan, Chimera, and Bone behind Malistyrax and Eclipse. These people all give me the creeps. Well, except that Nitrox dude. It seems like he could be an ally without too much trouble. This Demise guy, though... he's probably a backstabber and a creep.

a figure in a black cloak walks out of one of the shadows in the corner of the rooms. a cylindrical object, about the height of a tree stup materializes out of the shadows along the row of chairs and he sits down on it. "i hope im not too late, i was... helping... an old lady cross the streat"

"Well, I am here. So why have you summon me here?" said DP after walk out of a shadow.

The doors slam open violently, and Velkan the leader of the Veltek, files in. Accompanied by six Veltek Ninja. They assemble at the back of the chamber.

Chimera looks over at Tempter and winks at her.

MARS Mk III stomps through the door, and takes a spot near the right wall. He looks rather battered compared to his former appearance.

"Where I come from we wait for everyone to arrive before we start a meeting or a meal," Demise says. "I invited everyone to a paradise safe from OBSCURA, they will come becuase Demise hath spoken."

((Oops... I miscounted for some reason... I guess I need to stop trying to think in the middle of a pain killer dose...))

Alexis's gaze lingered for a moment on the Veltek as they entered, remembering the last time she'd seen some of that band. Is that their leader, then? Good to know. When MARS came in, Alexis grinned, remembering three years prior when she had retrieved him with Predator's help. I wonder if he'd still consider us friends, though he probably doesn't consider anyone his friend.

She listened to Demise's words curiously. "'A paradise?'" She repeated Demise's words. "What kind of paradise could there be out there? If we hide from OBSCURA, then we live either on the run or trapped in a small area we hope will be safe. Paradise is a strong word to be used to describe anything."

"if that's what's going on, i dont need any assistance" the hooded figure says before ripping a strip of flesh off of a human spinal colum with his teeth. then eating it. "the shadows are my domian"

"Oh no, OBSCURA is a far more dangerous foe than you give them credit for, you mismatched pile of flesh and shadow." The disembodied voice of Zurubane explodes all around the chamber. "I refuse to join in your company Demise, especially with the presence of Malistyrax, and so many other my former foes. Instead I send to your aid someone interesting," the disembodied voice of Zurubane goes silent.

As the last echoes of the disembodied voice silence, a thick grey mist fills the room. The mist then swirls in the middle of the room with two red glowing eyes in it's center. The mist disperses and there stands a man. " I am here at the command of my master," he says with a thick russian accent. "My name is not important, but you may call me Demoniac." He looks around the room, looking at everyone like he is studying their very souls, then looks at Demise and says "it looks as if my master Zurubane was right, you will need my help, but my help comes at a price that we will discuss at a later date."

"Very well Demoniac, and with that all of my guests are accounted for," Demise says rising from his throne. "I am Demise, the dictator of a small country whose name is difficult to prounounce. Here in this embassy, this is the only place that OBSCURA cannot enter, and here is where we will declare war on OBSCURA. I have a plan that will end with the complete destruction of OBSCURA which will leave the world at our mercy. What do you all say will you follow the word of Demise, at least until OBSCURA is destroyed, we can continue battling each other once our enemy is dead and buried."
During his speech Demise spreads his arms in a very dramatic fashion.
